James Brown – Sho’ Is Funky Down Here
March 4th, 2012
James Brown “Sho Is Funky Down Here” (1971, King Records – KS 1110) was the last album to be released on the King label, and was rather a departure from his usual material, as the album is entirely instrumental, and not only sees Brown directing the David Matthews’ Grodeck Whipperjenny group, but also playing the organ with them. Issued in a pasted picture sleeve.
