Per tutti gli appassionati di scratch e tutti i fans di Dj Gruff! Sabato 13 febbraio dalle ore 16, potrete testare voi stessi le "barre" prodotte dal BARRIFICIO PIEMONTESE. Dj Gruff darà una dimostrazione del loro utilizzo e chi vorrà potrà poi provarle di persona. Domani, lunedì 4 gennaio, alle ore 17 inauguro la mia personale di
sculture "LetteralMENTE – grafie ad alto volume" presso il Link, in via
Fantoni 21 a Bologna.
Durante la settimana di esposizione, che si chiuderà sabato 9 gennaio
con l’evento "Hip Hop Showcase 3000", dj’s e breaker accompagneranno la
visone dei lavori.

About:

Members of Free Art and Technology (FAT), OpenFrameworks, the
Graffiti Research Lab, and The Ebeling Group communities have teamed-up
with a legendary LA graffiti writer, publisher and activist, named Tony
Quan, aka TEMPTONE. Tony was diagnosed with ALS in 2003, a disease
which has left him almost completely physically paralyzed… except for
his eyes. This international team is working together to create a
low-cost, open source eye-tracking system that will allow ALS patients
to draw using just their eyes. The long-term goal is to create a
professional/social network of software developers, hardware hackers,
urban projection artists and ALS patients from around the world who are
using local materials and open source research to creatively connect
and make eye art.

The team:

The core development teams consists of members of Free Art and Technology (FAT), OpenFrameworks and the Graffiti Resarch Lab: Tony Quan, Evan Roth, Chris Sugrue, Zach Lieberman,Theo Watson and James Powderly.

With support from: The Ebeling Group, the Not Impossible Foundation and Parsons Communication Design & Technology.
